Mission Statement

The mission of Step! by Step! Christian Outreach is to help people take their first steps towards or back to God and to help develop and encourage a real, living, growing and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord. Our aim is also to try and strengthen them in their spiritual lives which will then have a positive knock on effect into their daily ones.

We work to develop strong partnerships with all other groups which we come into contact with. We do this by maintaining regular communications, the relay of information and planning our activities in the knowledge of all the leaders of our churches (Clergy and Lay) as well as those into whose areas we will be visiting. This is so that direction and continuity can be offered to those who find that they want to take further steps in their journey of faith.

We are not a replacement for any existing group or groups who already carry out such essential work as pastoral care, evangelism or ministry, rather it is to help and strengthen that work through the extra ministry of Step! by Step! Christian Outreach.

We aim to pray and study the scriptures regularly so that we are prepared for all the opportunities that God will surely continue give us.

Step! by Step! evangelises and outreaches using music, dance, drama, stories and Gospel presentations. We utilise as many skills and giftings as possible that are at our disposal. We actively seek to gain a response from people from all walks of life and assist those who want to find out more (either privately or publicly) as to how and from where they can learn more about Jesus and God.

We make this public commitment to our church, our friends (Christian and Non-Christian), all those people who have and continue to help and pray for us, all those we haven't yet met, but most of all to God, our saviour and redeemer.
